Spring cleaning = awesome.  You can really tell the difference when your harddrive has shed those unwanted winter megabytes.

THE BACKGROUND: This vid has been in the works since...well around the time I started Concrete Angel!  I seem to have been on a slight "Adria" kick, which is odd because she's never been one of my favourite characters :P

THE POINT: Jonas, as a concerned older brother, takes his sister's (Adria's) new beau (soon to be husband via shotgun-wedding) aside to warn him about their rather eccentric family.  Meanwhile, the aforementioned family (armed and vengeful) are looking to keep Ba'al away from their Adria.  This is really a team vid disguised as a Ba'al/Adria ship vid (*pets my crack!ship*).

THE RED-TAPE: I don't own the show, the music, the nuthin'.  Not even the idea because I first saw an attempt to vid this song in the Harry Potter fandom. :P  And my good friend scifi_tv_addict has been my faithful beta all along this vid's miniscule steps forward and major steps back.  She's also the one who saved my vid from a horrific Gab-attempted banner and produced the one you see below!

THE BACKGROUND: For some time now, my good friend scifi_tv_addict (Stef) and I have entertained the idea of collaborating together on a music video. However, after a rather botched first attempt at a vid together (which I still believe might one day be revived :P), we kind of put that notion on hold. Until, that is, Stef found a song practically written for Daniel and Vala that brought us back together for a second try. And I am pleased to say that after only a couple of months and a couple more near-nervous breakdowns, we have succeeded in combining our efforts to create a collab vid!!

THE POINT: This is an upbeat vid with very minor AU's, chronicling Daniel and Vala's relationship and how, despite their differences and spats, they both know life would suck without the other.

THE RED TAPE: We own neither the Stargate SG-1 series, nor the Daniel and Vala characters. The music is "Life Would Suck Without You" sung by Kelly Clarkson. We aren't profiting from this vid in any way, not even emotionally, so suing us wouldn't be very nice. ;) And finally, the banner, collab logo, vid logo, and credits were created by my very talented collaborator scifi_tv_addict !

Here is another lighthearted, peppy kind of vid (don't worry, no AU plot, more like HSNE :P) about Cam and Daniel trying to go through life without Sam and Vala. ^_~  For those still with us at the end, there's a surprise alternate ending ^_~  Many thanks to scifi_tv_addict for her stalwart beta-ing!

SUMMARY: This is a major AU in which Daniel and Vala meet while he's undercover in the Ori galaxy, gathering intelligence for the SGC. Vala has lived in Ver Isca her whole life but has never been a devout believer. When her position in the underground puts her life in danger, Daniel abandons his cover to save her and together they start a new life.



This simple and slightly ugly banner was one of my first attempt at that thing known as "visual arts" with which I have a mutually disagreeable relationship :P  But I'm kinda proud of it ^_^ It's not pretty by any means but it's functional and took me 3 hours to do so I might as well be proud of it, eh? ^_~   And the logo you'll see in the vid was created by my good and completely talented friend, Chris!  Shoukran, habibi! ^_^

Okay, I've finally completed a Daniel/Vala vid!!

This vid was made for natalia5345 's amazing fic Turn Out The Light which you can find at FF.net or on her LJ.  The basic summary is that Vala begins to remember the events of the fifty years spent on the Odyssey after Unending.  Hopefully the vid stands on its own enough but I HIGHLY recommend reading the fic it was made for!

Most of the beta'ing for this vid was done by natalia5345  and scifi_tv_addict , the latter of whom made this beautiful banner as well!  Thanks so much to both of you for everything! ^_^

After many attempts, I've finally complete my very first vid!! It's a crack!vid because apparently that's where my talents lie ^_~
